CE SHIFT membership helps you apply training, solve real agency problems, use and share practical resources, and strengthen your professional voice. Membership belongs to the individual practitioner, sworn or civilian, and every application is manually verified.
Membership gives you an account in the protected member portal. Ask the Network and the searchable Practitioner Directory are available now. Other areas are open and being published or scheduled.

Pricing
Membership for the individual practitioner.
Every member joins as an individual practitioner, whether an officer or a civilian Community Engagement professional. Membership and the portal account belong to the practitioner, subject to eligibility and manual professional approval.

Starting July 1, 2027, new annual individual memberships will be $50/year. No payment or card is taken for free applications.

Apply to Join CE SHIFT for FreePaid training and the Community Engagement Impact Conference (CEIC), March 30-31, 2027 are separate paid offers, not included in CE SHIFT membership. Starting July 1, 2027, new annual individual memberships will be $50/year. If you join free before then, you are not automatically billed or removed on July 1, and no card is taken now. Any future renewal or access change will come with clear terms in advance and requires your consent to pay.

Membership includes:

- Find and connect with members by geography, role, and experience in the Practitioner Directory
- Use guides, templates, field briefs, and implementation resources in the Practitioner Library as they are published
- Access practitioner-focused Professional Development items as they are released
- Participate in Bridge Sessions and member Events as they are scheduled
- Help shape the resources, sessions, and priorities developed for the founding cohort

Complete the practitioner application. Five short sections, about ten minutes.
Review
The CE SHIFT team reads every application to confirm your role and agency fit.
Manual approval
Applications remain Pending Review until an administrator approves them. Applications submitted through June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM Eastern, are free, with no checkout or card.
Account invitation
After manual approval, your account invitation arrives by email.
